Planting Bulb Fennel
- Choose a warm, sheltered, sunny site with fertile, moist soil that drains well.
- Space plants approx 30cm apart
- Best to planted straight outside
Growing Tips
- Very easy going and requires little maintenance. Just pop it in the ground in fertile soil, keep it well watered to keep the plant growing strongly.
Harvesting
- Usually ready to harvest late summer when bulbs are approx 10-15cm across
- The bulbs can be harvested at anytime but they tend to take 3/4 months to mature.
